Has anyone dealt with FBCS debt collection harassment? What did you do about it?
Lately, I’ve been getting nonstop calls from a company called FBCS (Financial Business and Consumer Solutions). At first, I didn’t even recognize the name, but after a quick search, I realized they’re a debt collection agency. The weird thing is, I’m not even sure the debt they’re calling about is legit. They’ve been calling multiple times a day, sometimes leaving voicemails, sometimes not. I even got a letter in the mail that looked super sketchy.
It’s starting to feel like harassment, and I’m not sure what my rights are or what steps I should take next. I don’t want this to mess up my credit if it’s not a real debt, but I also don’t want to ignore it in case it is. Has anyone here been in a similar situation with FBCS? How did you handle it?
I came across this site while doing some digging: https://protectionforconsumers.com/stop-fbcs-debt-collection-harassment/ — it talks about ways to stop the calls and what your rights are, but I’d still love to hear from real people who’ve gone through this.
Any advice or personal stories would be super helpful. Thanks in advance.
